Why wear masks?
CDC (Centres for Disease Control and Prevention) has recommended wearing cloth face coverings in public where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. (for example – supermarkets and pharmacies)
Scientific evidence about the function and benefit of wearing a barrier mask varies according to the health and political system of each country.
However the accepted and universal thinking is that individuals wearing face masks, protect their immediate environment surrounding them by reducing the spread of bacteria and viruses.
Our face masks are reusable and therefore sustainable.
We recommend 5 masks per person
- 2 with you during a working day ( change after 4 hours)
- 1 spare with you for emergency
- 2 being washed from previous day
These masks can help reduce airborne dust, air pollution, allergens, irritants, ordours and particulates.
There is a global shortage of medical grade masks and these should be held for frontline workers where possible.
This is a solution for the general public to help play their part in reducing the spread of the virus.
